Uncle Aron sent tickets for Disney on Ice for Tori and Alyssa's birthday this year. I thought it was a great idea. It's been more than 5 years since we went to an "On Ice" show. We had a great time enjoying the Magic of Disney. Brought back great memories of our fun trip a few years ago to Disneyland. Tori loved the show, Alyssa was mesmerized and Mackenzie was completely captivated. . . until she fell asleep during the half of the show.
Grandma and Grandpa Johnson came to visit this weekend as well and the girls treated us to a concert of their own. They donned their "fashion" clothes and some play makeup and Tori and Alyssa both sang us a few of their pop hits. They took to our bed as a stage and lit up my heart. Alyssa was so cute and shy. You could tell Tori had been coaching her because while Alyssa was singing, Tori was in the "audience" with us holding her hand near her ear to tell Alyssa to sing louder and prompt her with words when she forgot them.
Mackenzie jumped on the bed to be just like her big sisters! She can never be left out. She even went and found her pretend microphone! Future Hannah Montanas? Do I want that? Maybe not, but they melt my heart every time they perform. . . even if it is just on my bed.
