We were able to celebrate Chinese New Year this year on the same day as Valentine's Day. We celebrated Valentine's on Saturday morning with a breakfast of Norwegian pancakes (crepes), strawberries, blueberries and whip cream. (Whip cream in a can is a pretty exciting thing around our house.) The girls each got a book and a marshmallow sucker for Valentines Day. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson were able to come visit in the afternoon and stayed the weekend with us. Grandma helped the girls make Chinese New Year signs that say "Big Luck" written in Chinese that they placed all over the house to bring us good luck for the New Year. We then took a drive to Chinatown and ate a yummy dinner at the Ocean Palace chinese restaurant. We had fish, duck, lobster, brocolli beef and fried rice. Yum!

Looks like so much fun. I love the Chinese outfits for Sunday. What fun that would be.
Looks like a fun weekend with grandparents.
I bet the kids are loving living closer to grandparents. How have the girls adjusted to the move and new school?
Just checking in again to make sure I didn't miss any Fancy Nancy Birthday Party Pictures. When's the big day?
