We have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the one U-pick blueberry farm in the Houston area. We loved that we got to continue a tradition we had started when we lived in WA. The bushes were bigger than we were used to but they brought some welcome shade from the sweltering heat. We had an amazing time together as a family and the girls are getting really good at only picking the "blue" ones. Even Mackenzie managed to stop eating a few and put them in the buckets. We managed to pick 18 lbs, and I still don't feel like we picked enough.
