Alyssa's Fun Run

Each year, the elementary school does a fundraiser called the Boosterthon Fun Run. There is this team of super enthusastic guys who come and talk about building good character traits, teamwork, and leadership. The kids collect pledges based on how many laps they run around this track. The run itself is a really fun event full of parents cheering and lots of fun music. The guys will have the kids do fun things like skip during a lap or sing along. This year Alyssa's class were the dalmations so we painted the shirts in a dalmation pattern and the kids got their faces painted. (No that's not mud on her face!) Alyssa ran 41 laps which is amazing! They only count up to 35 for donation purposes, but the kids love to compete and see how many they can do. Way to go Alyssa! Alyssa's class. She's in the second row in the middle with her hands like paws in front of her face.
Winding down. My shots of her running were all blurry. She must have been super fast.
Alyssa the dalmation.
