April is a busy month for us since we have two birthdays within 9 days of each other. Tori celebrated her 8th birthday this year by having a Tropical Paradise Party. The girls all got lei's, drank an orange pineapple tropical drink, had fruit kabobs, karaoked, played island charades, decorated flip flops and partied their hearts out. It was so fun for Tori to get together with some of her friends from our old ward. She had a great time and we did too. She was so excited for her birthday and has a hard time with the idea that her sister's birthday is before hers. She made it through the 9 days though and was able to enjoy a great day.
We love Tori because. . .
1. She is full of life.
2. Tori has a huge smile and gets really excited for good times.
3. She is creative and has a vivid imagination. She makes up stories, plays and pretend games with her sisters and friends. Everything from art school, to Polly Pocket house games, to horses. (I was reprimanded last summer because I needed to help take care of the animals in the stable in our backyard. Apparently, I wasn't doing my daily chores. I responded by saying that I'd take care of things inside the farm house if Tori and Alyssa took care of the "farm" outside.)
4. Her enthusiasm is contagious.
