The next day was a busy day for Ben. He had early morning meetings, he was asked to give a talk at church and he had a youth meeting and discussion in the evening. Tori and Alyssa were so sweet after church and made me custom chocolates. They melted chocolate chips and poured them into these mini cookie molds I have. Then they put different filling inside. One was peanut butter, one marshmallow, one sprinkles, one nuts. Then they poured more melted chocolate on top and let them cool. They wouldn't let me look the whole time they were making the chocolates or even when they were cooling down. They turned out really cool, and I thought it was so thoughtful and creative of them. I have the best kids!

Birthday Surprise
Saturday Ben said we were going out for dinner for my birthday but the location was a surprise and the second activity was a surprise. Ben spent most of the day deep cleaning our kitchen so I had some inkling that something was going to happen at our house. Well, as we were driving I quickly realized we were going to The Woodlands. Once we parked in the mall parking lot, I realized we were going to P.F. Changs. When we got there Ben asked the hostess for a party of 10! My first surprise of the night was that we were meeting friends. It turns out a couple of the other spouses had birthdays the week before and they had plotted to suprise their husbands as well. We enjoyed a yummy dinner that included one of my favorites, the lettuce wraps. The second surprise of the night was that everyone came to our place for a yummy hot chocolate bar and playing Kinect and Wii games. We had a great time and it was a fun way to celebrate the big 35! Thanks Ben for making it a great day!
