Every year here in Texas the elementary schools have a day that they call "Go Texan Day." They celebrate the history and culture surrounding the state of Texas. This year the 1st graders all got to dress "Texan" and march in a parade around the school. I thought Alyssa would be nervous to dress up, but she was really excited for it. We even made a little covered wagon out of a shoe box that she pulled behind her. Isn't she a cute cowgirl?
