Growing Each and Every Day

I thought I'd post a few pictures of Kira since she is growing all the time despite our busy crazy schedule. She's about 5 1/2 months now and is getting bigger all the time. On 5/12/12 she rolled over from her stomach to her back for the first time all by herself. She's started some solid foods and is thrilled when she get to eat from a spoon! I love how she smiles so big when I come and get her in the morning. She wakes up so happy. She doesn't even cry. She just kind of calls for us. She's been sleeping through the night for a while now, but she's also started being better in the early evenings. She used to be really fussy from about 7:00-9:00 p.m. Now she's more manageable. She usually falls asleep easily in her carseat because we're always headed somewhere! Just this past week, I've been retraining her to fall asleep on her own without being fed, and she's really getting it down. I hold her and sing her a song, then lay her down in her crib. She cries for a few minutes and then just falls asleep. Yeah! I love her cute big cheeks and big brown eyes! We're still trying to determine if she really will have dark brown/black hair.  It's growing in that color so maybe. . . .
