First Day of School

It's hard to believe but today was the first day of school. Summer seems to have flown by! I thought I was ready for the girls to go back to school and for us to have a little more structure, but today when everyone was out the door and Mackenzie was already bored, I started to miss the older girls already. Most of the time they all play together really well. I love waking up in the summer and picking something fun to do that day like bake together, do a craft, go to the library, swimming etc. The structured schedule of the school year that I like is also the part that limits all the random, creative things we get to do. There is a time and season for all things though and hopefully we'll be able to keep some of our random creative times throughout the school year. Both of the girls did great today. They were excited for their teachers and the new year. Here are a few pics from today.  I didn't realize until just now that their new messenger bags and coordinating lunch totes match their outfits.  I don't think they even planned that!  Its just the colors that they like and fit their personalities. 
   

 Tori loved her matching feather earrings and blue nail polish manicure that she got a few days ago for being such a good helper to me this summer!

Alyssa loved the pink sparkle bag at Justice!  We'll see if it stands the test of the school year.
