Mackenzie's Birthday

Mackenzie's birthday was on a Sunday so shortly after her favorite breakfast of swedish pancakes we were anxious to have her open presents. Here are a few pics from that morning.

A princess tunnel from Grandma and Grandpa Christensen.

Princess nightgown from mom and dad. She helped pick this out so she's known for a few weeks she was going to open it on her birthday.

A few reasons we love Mackenzie:

1. She wrinkles her nose when she smiles.

2. She's very sweet and loves to give "juicy" kisses as she calls them. They're really slobbery kisses.

3. She is always saying or doing funny things that make us laugh. One day when she should have been eating dinner she got out of her chair and just started running around the couch saying, "I'm running, I'm running." as she ran around and around.

4. She has always loved to snuggle and will still lay in my lap while I sing her a song before bedtime.

5. She has this spunky personality and is always trying to hang or climb on things. She's definitely a gymnast in training.

6. She is a tough girl. If she falls down she almost never cries. When she does cry, we know she's really hurt.

7. She sometimes has this mischievous look where I wonder what she's thinking or what she's been up to.
