Happy Easter 2011
We had a fun Easter with all the typical traditions. Grandma Christensen was able to join us this year which was fun for all of us. We decorated easter eggs earlier in the week and attempted glitter eggs this year. They actually did work relatively well. The girls thought it was really fun to see how the glitter looked on the different color eggs. Sunday they woke up to find Easter eggs hidden all around the house. That evening we had a special Family Home Evening where we opened 12 different eggs and talked about the events surrounding the crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ. Mackenzie actually understood some of the story this year.

They all do look super cute. If we lived by each other we totally should have gotten together for the 12 Easter egg thing we did that as well.
