Babysitting. . . here she comes!

The Conroe Regional Medical Center offers a Safe Sitter course that Tori has been dying to take once she turned 11. Due to a conflict, her class got postponed from June until the end of July.  She attended the 2 day course with a couple of other friends from the ward. They teach age appropriate activities, how to handle difficult situations, payment, first aid, choking and CPR etc. She absolutely loved it! She's been babysitting for me with Alyssa and Mackenzie progressively more through the summer and does really well. I've seen her implement some of the techniques she learned in her class when the girls haven't been listening to her or when she's having a hard time with them. She's really come a long way and a few friends have even asked her to babysit for short periods of time. She loves it and will be a great babysitter!
