Alyssa's 9th Birthday

This year Grandma and Grandpa Johnson were able to come down and help celebrate Alyssa's birthday.  We had a family party this year instead of a friends party.  On Saturday, Dad and Grandpa played golf while the girls went shopping at the mall.

 The stash.  One of her favorites was the American Girl doll, of course, and the Nerf bow and arrow. 

We had a simple cake that she helped decorate. 

 

We did get to go to Sweet Tomatoes, a salad buffet restaurant the girls love because of their macaroni and cheese, on Saturday night. 

 

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

We love Alyssa because:

1.  She is a peacemaker in our home and is often the first one to comfort someone who is upset.

2.  She thinks deeply about things and really want to do what's right.

3.  She is a fun older sister for Mackenzie and Kira.  She loves to help take care of them by getting them lunch or helping me change Kira's diaper.

4.  She has a funny giggle and loves to say "oh yeah, right."

5.  She likes to help me bake and cook.
