The Best Christmas Tree Ever

After a busy Saturday morning with our ward Christmas party and spilling a gallon of hot chocolate in our trunk, we ventured to the lovely tree lot to pick out "The Best Christmas Tree Ever." After reviewing several Nobles we rounded the end of the row of trees and to our great surprise found "The Best Christmas Tree Ever!" Okay, okay, it wasn't that special compared to most, but I loved making a big deal about it. (Doesn't everyone want to think they're tree is the best?) The girls had a great time decorating a 1 foot square space of the tree with almost every ornament we own. We've had to start a new tradition this year in deciding who puts the star on top of our tree. For a long time it was Tori. Last year we did the star topping ceremony twice, once for Alyssa and once for Tori since they both wanted to be the special handler of the star. This year we decided we'd rotate so Mackenzie got the honors. She can grip things, but didn't quite understand her oh so important job yet!
