Gingerbread Houses
We have a tradition of decorating Gingerbread houses before Christmas. Well, the tradition usually consists of getting together with our friends, the Karrens, the dads constructing some form of a house out of graham crackers, the kids decorating the houses, and gorging on candy. This year we missed doing it with the Karrens, but Tori and Alyssa did their own 2 small houses. Tori has watched the Food Network challenges and liked turning this evening into a contest complete with the last 10 second countdown and moving the completed masterpieces to the "display" table. Maybe we have a Food Network pastry chef in the making!
