Snow Day!

Warm and cozy!

Don't mess with these girls!
We've had a sprinkling of snow over the last couple of days, but today they are forecasting 2-4" in the area. So. . . you know what that means for the Northwest! Snow Day! I remember the excitement of staying home from school especially because growing up in Utah it almost never happened. Tori was so excited to play in the snow today. After lunch, I got the girls bundled up in their snow clothes that actually still fit 2 years later, and we had a snowball fight with some of the neighhborhood boys. Girls rule! Then we came inside to warm up with popcorn and the girls watched the old Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Christmas special. Today brought back many memories of childhood when Aron, Erik, Kent and I spent hours playing in the snow, building forts, sledding, and having snowball fights with neighborhood friends. (Tori can't imagine how great it would be to have snow piled so high on the side of your driveway that you can build a tunnel all the way down it. ) I miss the snow and fun times like that with my brothers! Thanks guys for some great memories.
