7 Acre Wood Fieldtrip

Mackenzie's preschool took a field trip to the 7 Acre Wood Farm, and Kira and I tagged along. It actually ended up being several preschool groups from the area which made it so much fun.  It was a great day with lots of friends. We managed to

sneak in a few pictures of our day between the fun.

 It was torture to get Mackenzie to sit still for a few minutes and smile at the pumpkin patch.

 Kira sort of smiling.  She had mixed feelings about sitting here because the petting zoo was right next door and she wanted to keep an eye on all the animals.  It also was way too hot for this outfit!  We're talking in the 80's!  

 Feeding a baby goat outside the petting zoo.  She didn't want to have anything to do with the larger lamas that were lurking nearby.  We did go in for a few minutes, but she didn't want to pet any of the animals.

 This was probably Mackenzie's favorite part of all, the zipline.  Never fear, it's only a few feet off the ground.  She spent a good 20 minutes going back and forth before I had to persuade her to go have lunch.  She's a daredevil at heart! 

We had a fun filled day with miniature golf, a hay ride, swings, and lunch as well.
