Thanksgiving Week Part 2

On Friday, we had to say goodbye to Jalyssa and our cousins which was a sad day for all.  We snuck in some Black Friday shopping and Ben went golfing with his dad.  On Saturday we spent the day at the Children's Museum with Grandma and Grandpa.  This is one of my kids' favorite places to go.
The older 3 girls enjoyed the vet clinic, grocery store and the art room while dad took Kira to the toddler area.  She wouldn't be more than a few feet from him.  This was a painting exhibit in the art room.  Inevitably we never remember to pick up our masterpieces at the end of the day though.
Then we headed downstairs to build rockets and lego cars.  Tori and Alyssa spent about an hour with Grandpa and Dad building various lego cars and running down this ramp.  The kept experimenting with the different kinds of wheels, height of the car, length etc. to find the kind that would go the farthest without breaking.  This was the hard part.
Mackenzie even got in on the action once we got her rocket to work.

Kira hung out with Grandma and had snacks.  After a full afternoon of playing, we went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner.  For some reason, my kids love their mac & cheese so it's always a favorite place to eat.
This is a picture we took when Kira was almost done. She loves food and has always been a really good eater. Now that she can mostly self feed she stuffs handfuls of food into her mouth. It makes for a messy eating experience, but I can't complain. She tried all kinds of things and loved everything. Kidney beans, beets and she was also a huge fan of the mac & cheese.
Grandma and dad enjoying their dinner as well.  Looks like dad enjoyed the mac & cheese as well.
Here is Kira really enjoying some ice cream of dessert.
