New Year's In Oklahoma

The week of New Year's we traveled to Oklahoma to visit Steve and Judy.  On our drive up to Owasso we were able to meet up with my cousin, David, and his family that are living near Dallas while he finishes school.  We enjoyed lunch at one of our favorites, In-N-Out, and a nice visit with them.

Tuesday Ben and Steve went golfing while the girls enjoyed a day shopping at the mall.  The big hit was finding a candy store that sold jelly snakes.  They were multicolored and about 2 feet long!  One room had all kinds of jelly candy which is a big hit around our house.

Wednesday was New Year's day and we enjoyed going to watch the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.  Here is our New Year's Eve dinner of crab and shrimp.

Thursday we decided to take a tour of Tulsa's Air and Space Museum.  The girls got to sit in this plane and actually move the back of the plane with their joy sticks.  They loved that!  It had some great interactive experiences for the kids and we also got to go to a planetarium show about stars.  It was the first time they've seen a planetarium show.

One of our favorite things to do in Owasso is bowling and Friday we couldn't pass up the chance.
 Tori loved helping Kira.
 The whole group!
We had a great time and can't wait to visit Grandma and Grandpa again.
