4th of July

Since Tori got back from girls' camp on July 3rd this year, we decided to stay here and celebrate the holiday.  We started the morning by going to the parade in the Woodlands.  It was a fun way to continue the tradition that we've had of going to the Kaysville City parade.
We got there shortly before the parade started and still got a front row seat!
And it wasn't even that hot!
We met up with the Spencer's.
During part of the parade several storybook characters came walking by.  Caught Elsa from Frozen.

I loved Kira's cute face in this picture.  It also shows a detail of Alyssa's fun star hairstyle she wanted me to do!
Later that day we had planned a BBQ with the bishopric families, The Hollander's and Ginn's.  We had hamburgers and hotdogs and then lit off fireworks out front.  Some of the kids in the truck.
Enjoying the morning glory sparklers.

 Kira was a little afraid!

The boys and men always lighting off big fireworks.
All the kids on the truck.

So glad we had fun friends to celebrate the 4th with!
