We went to Utah this summer in August to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. There was a lot of preparation for the party, but we were able to squeeze some other fun things as well.

One day we were able to meet up with my high school friends, Amanda and Diana and some of their kids and play at the new Kaysville splash pad. It was fun because Erik, Kysha, and Kambrie happened to be there too with some of Jalyssa's family.

On Wednesday, we were able to go to Cherry Hill with Aron and Jalyssa and her kids. The girls have looked forward to this the last few years and are getting old enough to do the slides more themselves. Dad was even able to meet up at the tail end for a few hours after he flew in from a work trip.

On Monday we were able to go visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. They are always so fun to go see. Sadly Sarge, their dog, passed away this year so the girls missed seeing him. I love that my girls will have memories of their great grandparents.
We had lunch at the Brick Oven in Provo and opted for their pizza buffet. They brought all different varieties of pizza to your table for us to try. We were stuffed!

We were able to all go in together and get Kent and Laura a new swing for baby Crew.
Kira warmed up to Grandpa this trip and would sit on his lap.
